Dollywood DreamMore Resort
ANNOUNCEMENT UPDATE: Dollywood is making 30 big announcements throughout 2015…to see what has been announced so far, click here!
The Dollywood DreamMore Resort is set to open in the summer of 2015 as a 230,000-square-foot resort featuring 307 rooms with a variety of accommodations including a 2,200-square-foot Dolly’s Suite Dreams celebrity suite. One of the neat features of Dollywood’s hotel is reunion suites which link adjoining rooms to create extended, connected family space. There will be an indoor pool, a 4,000 sqft outdoor pool complex, a spa and a full-service farmhouse-style restaurant that features a wraparound veranda with views of the pool and surrounding mountains. An amphitheater is planned as well as outdoor areas complete with fire pits, swings and hammocks. Dolly Parton has wanted to open a hotel or resort since she first opened Dollywood in 1986. While they have had cabin rentals available about 2 miles away from the park, they have wanted to open a resort much closer to the theme park to offer a whole new range of accommodations and package options.
DreamMore Resort Opening Date
The Dollywood DreamMore resort opening date has been announced and they are now accepting reservations for stays starting July 27, 2015! The prices are around $200/night and vary depending on the dates that you choose.
BIG TIP: If you purchase a Dollywood Gold season pass, you get a pretty nice discount on the nightly rate. PLUS, if you get the super pass (Dollywood & Splash Country), you get an even bigger discount. So be sure to consider the cost savings of the passes because it can save you a good deal of money!

Details About Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort Hotel
The new resort will be designed especially for families with some rooms accommodating six people. The resort will also feature many “front porch” viewing areas of the Smoky Mountains as well as a fishing pond for children! Their media release states:
“Featuring a variety of accommodations, the resort celebrates the iconic Southern gathering spot, beckoning to a time when families and friends sipped iced tea, enjoyed homemade ice cream and socialized. Centered on the rich traditions of storytelling, family and togetherness, the resort will feature many special touches including family sanctuaries like fire pits, swings and hammocks plus story spots scattered throughout the grounds.”
As guests enter the lobby, they will be greeted with a glass of lemonade in the summer and a cup of hot chocolate during winter months.

The new DreamMore Resort will be located adjacent to Dollywood’s Splash Country. They have 100 acres available to develop on and the new resort is just going to use around 20 acres, which means they have a lot more expansion room to work with in the future. Dolly says it will have “Southern flair” while being “classy”. A resort such as this is something that numerous visitors have asked about for years as they search for vacation packages and lodging near Dollywood.

We have loved DollyWood for years and can’t wait for DreamMore Resort to open. It looks stunning in the artist renderings shown!
The rooms look really nice and having a room with a one bed for adults and bunkbeds for children…kudos to who came up with that idea!!!!! My husband who passed away in April would have truly enjoyed this hotel and the views. I hopefully will be able to make a trip there in his memory when the hotel opens.. Beautiful!
I am so glad there is finally going to be a place to offer up more room for bigger families…That’s one of the downsides to staying in some hotels in the Pigeon Forge area, trying to accommodate bigger families…can’t wait for it to open
If your looking for larger rooms at a hotel, the Valley Forge Inn offers a variety of rooms that sleep 6 people, two different types,, one is a two level townhouse with a large jacuzzi, full kitchen, two full baths , two king beds, and a full size bed…. another one is a one level Large suite that also sleeps six,,, and there also is a very large open room with two king beds, one queen, and a pull out sofa to sleep 8 ppl… It has a full kitchen, large jacuzzi, and one full bath.. In the fall and winter months it has a gas fireplace…. one nice feature is a private balcony overlooking the main parkway,, and located near the new Island ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,locally family owned …..
really? there are cabins all over the place
I hope the wheelchair accessible rooms are roomy. You have no idea how many places we have stayed that said they were accessible, but my husband could barely get into. Pigeon Forge is our favorite place.
This will be a super addition to the Smokies. So glad to hear that larger family- sized rooms will be built. When grandparents take their grandchildren, each one needs their own bedroom. The outdoor pool and fishing will be wonderful. Can’t wait until it is open next year.
Love Dollywood! Have visited with Starr Tours out of NJ and can’t wait until DreamMore is ready next year. Would love to treat my family to a remarkable vacation and watch my grandson enjoy all the new things that will be there. Way to go Dolly for thinking of all ages.
It’s so beautiful. I am looking forward to coming there with my kids and grandkids. What a wonderful time that would be.
Can’t wait until you can start booking rooms. And you put the prices out for the rooms.
It would be wonderful if at least one of the pools could be a salt water system. One of our children can’t swim in a chlorinated pool, but can play all they want in a salt water one. They miss out on SO much because it is so very hard to find any place that doesn’t use chlorine.
The initial start up for one is a little more, but the maintenance is less expensive..
If anyone that has any say in the way this new resort is built reads this, could you PLEASE pass the word? I know we aren’t the only ones that have this problem. We come to Pigeon Forge at least four times per year, and our child misses out on swimming EVERY time. It would be wonderful for them to be able to play with no worries! 🙂
I Love Pigeon Forge Tennessee,I can not wait to stay there The picture and the mountains are amazing place for family and love I would like to know if they are having 2 bedroom suites for our family
When can you make reservations for the Fall of 2015 or Spring of 2016?
I can’t wait to stay here. it is looks awesome.
Can’t wsit for it to open. Visiting there this summer . Hope I can afford it.
Just made my reservations for the opening weekend. I love East Tennessee. Been going my whole life. I cannot wait!
Can’t wait to take my grand babies. Hope it has a play area with the magic quest, zip line, game room also. I would not have to leave the resort. Also praying they have an allergy menu that will be safe for TREE NUT Allergy.
EXCITED!!
