Free Trick-or-Treating at The Island

The Island in Pigeon Forge hosts a free trick-or-treating event on Halloween night. Kids can get candy from participating shops! Costumes are encouraged for all ages (and your dogs too), as there is a costume contest. The winners will take home prize packages from the nearby shops and restaurants.
Finally, show off your best moves at the dance party! The classic Island Show Fountain will have a spooky twist. Visitors can also go shopping for Halloween souvenirs and enjoy themed treats! Your favorite rides will have a festive twist as well.
Rowdy Bear’s Boo Park
Rowdy Bear’s FunPark transforms into Rowdy Bear’s Boo Park from mid-September to the end of October. Have all the fun without the fright; the attraction is decked out for a fun Halloween event in vibrant fall colors, themed treats, and classic decorations, such as pumpkins and scarecrows. Bring your camera and get some memorable photos!
On select nights, the park holds a Boo Park Bash with trick-or-treating, scavenger hunts, and dance parties! Keep in mind that the Boo Bash tickets are separate from general admission. If you can’t make it during the evening, check out the park during the day. There is tubing, fun carnival rides, and much more!
Harvey’s Boo Bash

Another Halloween event is Harvey’s Boo Bash at Dollywood. It takes place on select evenings during the month of October as a part of the theme park’s Harvest Festival. Please note that this event is separate from general admission. Visitors who come for the Boo Bash event will have access to the park from 4 pm until midnight.
The main event features treat trails, dance parties, and themed snacks. Get some pictures with the fall decor in the background. You could have the opportunity to meet Harvey the Pumpkin and other characters. You can enjoy your favorite Dollywood rides under the stars and experience the brand-new NightFlight Expedition!
Haunted Mountain Coaster Rides
The Rocky Top Mountain Coaster is the place to go for horror lovers and thrill seekers! You’ll never know what’s waiting for you around the next turn during the Zombie Invasion, an unforgettable haunted experience with live actors and large-scale special effects.
Another option is the Pigeon Forge Racing Coaster’s Haunted Race, where you get to pick a side: the Headless Horseman or the Grim Reaper. Starting at 5 PM, live actors and eerie lights take the experience to a whole new level! Read more about the only racing coaster in Pigeon Forge!
Visitors can still ride both mountain coasters as normal during the day, a great way to be out in the fresh air and see fall colors and Smoky Mountain views!
