Dolly Parton Series Coming to Netflix!

Dolly Parton has just announced that she will be bringing a new television film series to Netflix in 2019! Her company, Dixie Pixie Productions, is partnering with Warner Bros. Television to produce eight episodes in her inaugural season on Netflix. In 2015, Dolly Parton premiered the television film “Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors” to more than 13 million viewers. She followed that up the following year with “Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love” to more than 11 million viewers. Both of those were also a partnership with Warner Bros. Television, so we can expect similar films coming to Netflix.

We have now confirmed that this rumor is true after speaking with multiple reps from Dollywood. This deal has been utilized by visitors for many years in order to maximize the number of rides and shows for the price of admission. Dollywood has not made this “public” yet, so please help us spread the word by sharing this article with your friends and family. We do not want people to show up at Dollywood after 3 expecting the deal they have always gotten only to be shocked that it no longer exists. Dolly Parton No Longer Grand Marshal of Pigeon Forge Parade

The city of Pigeon Forge has announced that Dolly Parton has decided to step down as the Grand Marshal of the Annual Dolly Parton’s Homecoming Parade after 32 years. The annual parade began in 1987, just one year after Dollywood opened. The parade served as the “kickoff” for the tourism season in the Smokies. Over the years, the parade has grown to include incredible floats & performers that attract tens of thousands of spectators each year. In addition to stepping down, Dolly’s name is being removed from the parade name as well …details below.
