Hard Rock Cafe Pigeon Forge TN
With the approval of liquor by the drink in Pigeon Forge TN, there have been numerous restaurants opening in town including the addition of a Hard Rock Cafe in Pigeon Forge, TN which opens May 20, 2014! The current Hard Rock Cafe in Gatlinburg is closing and relocating to Pigeon Forge.
The brand new Hard Rock Pigeon Forge is located between WonderWorks and the Smoky Mountain Opry in the building that use to be Tony Roma’s. This is a great location and the building is perfect for a Hard Rock Cafe and is much larger than the former Gatlinburg location. The new Hard Rock is 12,000 sqft and will seat 302 guests with private event space, free parking, patio seating, a live music stage, and more. One neat feature is an interactive Rock Wall Solo™ – a 52″ high-resolution interactive touch wall that enables fans to virtually explore the world’s greatest music memorabilia collection. The Hard Rock Pigeon Forge features one-of-a-kind memorabilia from local and national artists, including Dolly Parton, Taylor Swift, Eddie Vedder, Florida Georgia Line, Katy Perry, and so much more than the Gatlinburg location could offer.

Hard Rock Cafe Pigeon Forge is one of many new restaurants that are planning to open with the approval of liquor by the drink. Other such restaurants are Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville and Dick’s Last Resort, which will both be located at The Island in Pigeon Forge and will be opening in the spring along with the Margaritaville Hotel.
I was just there in December & Tony Roma’s was open. Will it be closing for good or being relocated?
It will be closing for good as far as I know….. no other locations have been mentioned and I live in Pigeon Forge……
Pigeon Forge for many years now has been a place we visited 3 or 4 times a year (sometimes more). One of the reasons we have enjoyed PFTN has been the prevailing ‘Christian’ atmosphere. While the addition of new restaurants is a big thing for PFTN economy, we are disappointed at the ‘liquor by the drink’ being’ the reason. What is next? Complaints by drinkers at hearing Christian music and thought that has heretofore been such a delight.
What kind of a backwards town didn’t allow liquor sakes in the 21st century?! Besides, PF is so commercialized, you could hardly call it a Christian town whatever the heck that means. It’s sad to see Hard Rock move out of a walkable town to a place like Pigeon Forge, when it is harder to access.
The kind of town that did nearly $1billion in tax revenue each year…before liquor by the drink was even passed.
My family and myself have been visiting Pigeon Forge 5-6 times a year for the last 16 years. We loved it. I have also brought 20-30 people from our church for the last 12 years., I along with all that traveled with me was very disappointed at the liquor being added. The one thing we loved about Pigeon Forge was there was no liquor places like they are adding now!! Everywhere else you go they have all these places, Pigeon Forge did not need to add what everyone else has. That’s what made it so unique and enjoyable. By the looks of the crowds and traffic for the past 16 years you did not need to add anything! It was so nice visiting a Christian area. don’t know how long we will continue to visit with all that is happening!!!
No offense but not drinking is not a Christian thing. I am a Christian and Catholic so a religion where drinking wine as the blood of Christ is an honor. I am very much against the assault on Christmas and wish that towns could still proudly display nativity scenes but I wish that certain Christians didn’t try to speak on behalf of all Christians. When the Hard Rock café opens I will visit PF and bring my cash to the region. I generally don’t drink but I’ll feel good knowing that I can have a drink if I want one. Way to go PF.
I have visited there since my parents brought me in 1950, TImes have changed all over the world. We cannot hide but we have to adjust to our surroundings. You do not have to like it but make your visit yours. You are probably in a city that you live in. Do you choose to stay in? There is so much there and love dont let other people take your memories from continuing. I wish I could be there to enjoy.
Where did you get the idea that Christians do not drinK.? I am not a drinker by choice but I have no issue with a place serving drinks. If you don’t want to drink then don’t but Pigeon Forge will go on with you or without you. You are hurting yourself! Oh and I was raised Jewish and the same applies, some drink some don’t!
I just now found out that Gatlinburg will be closing as of memoabili and the staff have been moved to the much larger and nicer Pigeon Forge location but I don’t even know where but I did found out that Hard Rock Café will be opening on Tuesday, May 20th, 2014!!!!!!!!!
We ate at the Hard Rock this past weekend & it was very good & the service was great! I’m glad they are in PF now! Big Dan took very good care of us while we were there. We asked him several questions & he was very helpful! Can’t wait to go back!
